Voyage’s pricing table includes initial free tokens for current embedding and reranking models. Eligible multimodal models include 200M text tokens and 150B image/video-frame pixels. These are model-specific introductory usage allowances, not USD credit or a recurring monthly grant.
How to claim this perk

Create a Voyage API account through the documentation login route.

Choose an eligible current model and verify its free token/pixel quota and account limits.

Use the regular embedding or reranking endpoint; monitor remaining quota and avoid Batch API if relying on free tokens.
Who can apply?
- Check the current model’s pricing row: current eligible rows show 200M tokens; some specialized models have 50M, and older models have none. Prose and older-model tables can differ.
- Free allowances do not apply to Batch API; batch tokens and Files storage are billed separately.
- Rate limits, account verification and model access apply. Confirm remaining free quota before paid traffic; no fixed expiry stated on pricing page.
- Published Tier 1 rate limits require adding a payment method; free allowances still apply. Check the dashboard for no-card limits.
