Official support describes an account-gated referral rollout. A new user using an eligible member’s invitation gets 50% off the first month of Pro, Pro+ or Ultra. The inviter receives $25 in usage credits after the new user upgrades, with up to ten rewards per cycle. There is no universal public checkout code.
How to claim this perk
Follow these steps through Cursor referral program.
Access: Direct application

Existing eligible member: open the Cursor referrals dashboard and copy the personal link.

New user: register through that link and confirm the first-month discount before subscribing.

Inviter: check the usage balance after the invited user upgrades.
Who can apply?
- The inviter must have referral-program access; if the referrals page redirects to the ordinary dashboard, the account is not enabled.
- Invitee must be a new user who signs up through the eligible referral link and buys a paid plan.
- The $25 usage reward goes to the inviter, not the new user, and does not reduce subscription prices.
- Up to ten inviter rewards per cycle; inspect account terms and credit expiry.
