AIgateway offers hackathon teams $500 via a provider-issued code after a request using the team email and event name. The grant covers a curated trial catalog across text, image, video, voice and embeddings. Full model-catalog access requires a paid top-up; no public reusable code is supplied.
How to claim this perk
Follow these steps through AIgateway Hackathon Credits.
Access: Direct application

Open the official Hackathon credits page and request a code with your team email.

Provide the hackathon name as requested by the provider; await the personal/team code.

Redeem it into the eligible AIgateway account, inspect the $500 balance, allowed models and expiry, then create scoped API keys.
Who can apply?
- One credit grant per team, not per teammate. Provide your team email and actual hackathon name.
- No card required. Trial models are restricted to the curated catalog; do not assume every advertised frontier model is included.
- Expiry wording differs: the overview says event end, while fine print says seven days after. Confirm the issued code’s exact expiry and plan to use it during the event.
