Inspect Developer Console → Billing → Credits for the free-credit grant.
Who can apply?
- Paid purchases required; this is not a no-purchase giveaway.
- $20 requires the account's first eligible saved credit/debit card, no previous payments, and its first API-credit purchase. Prepaid cards excluded.
- The additional bonus equals the first successful auto-recharge, capped at $50. Merely enabling auto-recharge does not qualify.
- Each incentive is once per account and physical card. Up to $70 combined bonus requires all relevant eligibility and a $50 successful automatic recharge.
- Promotional credits expire three months after grant. Rollout is account-specific, so not every account receives the incentive yet.
- Credits are for the X API, not xAI/Grok model inference. Payment and redemption untested.
- Requires purchase of API credits; this is a paid top-up match.
- Source verified; account eligibility, credit delivery and redemption were not tested.
